The best thing about baseball and maybe...just maybe the sport is great in the same ways Stones records are great, newspapers are great and drinking whiskey is great. It's over the hill, obsolete and outdated and brilliant. Plus, hitting a fastball is damn tough, whether it's slowpitch or a fastball in the World Series. It's been a long time. I'm in Barrhead Alberta, working for one of the best small papers in Alberta - the Barrhead Leader. Here's some of my favourite pics from the last little bit. Check back often.
